The in-house team at Shapeways — New York-based 3D printing start-up, went on a field trip to Crest Hardware in Williamsburg recently. The short trip was purposed to visit their resident Garden Keeper, Franklin the potbellied pig, and his dad Joe. The whole experience of 3D scanning Franklin is documented on Facebook Live. This 6-year old pig has now become a beloved local celebrity, with over 2.4K Instagram followers.
